Before writing a single note of his opera Avis de Tempête (Storm Warning), Georges Aperghis had given the watchword to all his collaborators: “an opera that is a storm”. Premiered in 2004 at the Lille's Opera, the piece was described by the French magazine "Les Inrockuptibles" as "miraculous and hallucinatory". Released in 2005 on Cyprès Records, the CD has been totally remastered in 2019.
A rebirth for an iconic work.
